richardlovettRichard met his bride-to-be, Tex, while they both attended the University of Tampa. They married the day after graduation in 1960. They have a son, & a daughter & three wonderful granddaughters. They have lived in original Carrollwood for forty years.

Upon graduation, Richard joined the financial service industry in 1960 and has been involved ever since. He’s proud to be the holder of many professional designations including:

3. Accredited Estate Planner
4. IRA Distribution Specialist
5. Pension Actuary
6. CLU

Richard has conducted many seminars over the years to help people plan for their financial future. Some of the topics he has covered are such things as “how to reduce or minimize taxes on social security income”, “trusts”, “how to protect assets from creditors”, “establish goals of both long term and short term savings and investments”, “how to avoid probate”, “proper ownership of assets”, etc. He has also conducted a number of seminars for CPAs. His goal is help people reduce their income tax, increase their income and live a long and happy life.

He also has given back to the community by being involved in many organizations over the years. He is an active member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council (Past President), an active member in the CLU Chapter (Past President). Currently he serves on the Advisory Board of the Tampa Bay Community Foundation, a Board Member of the Police Athletic League, past member and president of the Carrollwood Cardinal football team, he was on the founding committee for the Grace Lutheran Church at Carrollwood as well as many other organizations.
